Can’t decide which of the official Olympic songs you like/hate the most? Well, don’t decide yet because Casiokids have (sort of) thrown their hat in the ring. To celebrate the games they are giving away their ‘Olympiske Leker’ track for free, along with this rather touchingly lucid note.

“Behind the commercials, the celebrity focus, logistical stress and economic issues there is something quite beautiful about the concept of the Olympic Games. If we really are so different, if we have to have those flags and borders, we might as well try to finish all the fighting with some rubber balls, racing around an oval lawn and see who can throw an iron ball attached to a chain the longest. So, to mark the opening of the Olympic Games in London we’ve decided to give away our Olympic anthem “Olympiske leker” for free together with a bonus version, Olympiske leker v.2.”

Neneh Cherry’s Jazz Festival marathon with The Thing came to a close last night. It’s been a tour of trains, planes and very little sleep. To find out exactly what went down along the way check out her Pinterest tour diary, updated from the various parts of Europe they found themselves.

Take a look here.

The festival team had such a good time at Optimus Alive last weekend that they’re keen to share it with those that missed out. Lucy’s put together this Friday playlist, which features a few of the highlights of the festival including The Cure, Radiohead, Metronomy and Justice. Enjoy.

We love Gaggle’s new look (debuted for their album launch at the start of this month), but it can make things a little tricky when trying to tell your Honey from your Polydorou. Luckily top snapper James Perou is on hand with his Poloroid gallery come Gaggle member crib sheet to help identify each member. See if you can spot yourself.*

*Only works if you are in Gaggle.
